The visit of Belarusian delegation to the Autumn Session of PACE

The visit to Strasbourg of Belarusian think tanks representatives and the Head of the Council of Europe Information Point in Minsk Ms Victoria Dedok

was organized on the occasion of the Autumn Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in the period from 30 September to 4 October.

During the session, the Belarusian delegation attended the speeches of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, French Secretary of State for European Affairs, Amélie de Montchalin (on behalf of the French Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe), Marija Pejčinović Burić, newly elected Secretary General of the Council of Europe.

The delegation also held a number of bilateral meetings in the Council of Europe Secretariat and attended the meeting of the PACE Political Affairs Committee with Belarusian parliamentarians and politicians.

Webinar on Roma rights and equality

On 9 July, a webinar will be organised on “Roma rights and equality” between  3-5 pm CET, in the framework of the regional project “Strengthening access to justice through non-judicial redress mechanisms for victims of discrimination, hate crime and hate speech in Eastern Partnership countries”.
